Point Cards

by Marie Bowman

October 18, 2008

Point Cards are given to each student every week.

Students earn points by displaying appropriate

behavior and work habits.  20 points may be awarded

for each class and for lunch with a possibility of

500 points per week.

NOTE: Students that have displayed inappropriate

behavior have a tendency to withhold their card rather

than receive a ‘N’ for ‘No Points’:  This will result

in the loss of 500 points.  Students that have a tendency

to tear up their point cards will not receive points for

that week.  Point cards must be presented to document

points earned on the students’ Points Account Page

kept in their binder.

POINT CARDS

  • Every week you will be given a new point card. It is your responsibility to keep this card.
  • If you card is lost, you will not receive those points.
  • Point cards will be added on Monday morning and your points account will be reconciled.
  • These points may be used for various activities such as purchases from the point store, personal contracts for approved items, field trips and/or lunch out, etc.
  • Bonus points and negative points may be awarded according to the teacher.
